Construction
: Robust sturdy construction
of Mild Steel neatly finished with Heat Resistant Silver Aluminium
paint. High Grade low thermal mass insulation (Imported Vacuum
formed insulation ) comprising of High Temp Ceramic Board
and Ceramic Fiber insulation thus keeping the skin temp within
the permissible limits. Suitable door mechanism so that the
hot face of the door is kept always away from the operator
thus ensuring safety.
Heating :
Heating done by Silicon Carbide rods for working temp upto
1450 °C and by Molybdenum disilicide heating elements
for working temp upto 1750 °C, providing excellent temp
uniformity inside the work chamber.

Temperature controlled by Microprocessor based PID Controller
or Programmer with Thyristorised Power pack module allowing

Construction

A1 high quality resistance wire in coil form wound on the

Construction
: Complete range of high quality tube furnace
upto working temperature of 1500 °C. For temp upto 1200
°C, ‘Hecons’ furnaces utilize a resistance
wire heating element in coil form wounded around a ceramic
work tube, forming an integral part of the heating element
to ensure excellent thermal uniformity. This is further backed
by layers of high grade low thermal mass insulation wool thus
maintaining good thermal uniformity and keeping skin temp
to minimum. Rapid heat up to the operating temperature. For
temp upto 1500 °C, ‘Hecons’ utilizes Silicon
Carbide rods arranged symmetrically around a ceramic work
tube to ensure excellent thermal uniformity. Thermocouple
with a ceramic protective tube is located in such a manner
so that it shows minimum deviation from the inner chamber
temperature.
Temp.Control
: Temperature controlled
by Microprocessor based PID Controller or Programmer with
Thyristorised Power pack module enabling an accuracy of +/-
1 °C inside the chamber and power saving to the extent
of 30-35%.

Construction :
Outer body of M.S thick gauge sheet and structural frame work
neatly finished with heat resistant silver Aluminium paint.
Insulation between the element supporting refractory blocks
and outer body is provided by best quality graded material
insulation. To avoid direct radiation heating of the charge,
a baffle drum is further provided between the work basket
and the heating elements.
Heating :
The heating elements are spiral type, made out of Kanthal
or Nichrome the best known resistance wires. These are designed
with a low superficial watts rating to afford them a long
life. The elements are supported in grooved- refractory blocks.

‘Hecons’ Laboratory ovens are
used in a variety of thermal processing applications including

Construction : Double or
Triple Walled construction with outer of Mild Steel duly Epoxy
Powder Coated and inner of M.S / S.S / Aluminium. Work space
is insulated from the outer cabinet with high density mineral
wool. Chamber access is via a single hinged Double Walled
side door, providing full and easy access with heavy duty
hinges & spring and roller type latch catch for locking
device. Wire mesh trays for better air circulation are also
provided.
Heating :
Heating is by 80/20 Nichrome wire with porcelain runner supports
or S.S Tubular Air heaters or by Incoloy Tubular Heaters depending
upon the working temperature requirements. Heater terminals
are taken out for wiring thereby increasing the life of heaters
and further avoiding the problem of burning of heater terminals
& short circuiting of heater connections.
The ‘Hecons’ ovens are designed to provide extremely

The common applications for ‘Hecons’
vacuum ovens include preheating, quenching, sterilizing, aging,

Standard and custom designed ‘Hecons’ Vacuum Ovens
are designed and built for leak tight high vacuum service.
Our equipment is totally produced in-house - designed, engineered,
fabricated, assembled, and tested to the highest standards.
Construction : Stainless
Steel working chamber capable of withstanding absolute vacuum
is fitted in outer M.S cabinet which has a neat powder coating
finish. The space between the outer and inner chamber is filled
with glasswool insulation. Door with thick toughened glass
gives excellent visibility in to the chamber and the same
is sealed with easily replaceable Silicone/ Neoprene rubber
gasket. Also provided with a Vacuum Gauge and Valve.
Heating :
Heating by low wattage density heaters with proper insulations
are clamped to the inner chamber.
Temperature upto 250 °C with an accuracy of +/- 1 °C.

The Hecons Autoclave is used

‘Hecons’ shaking water baths are used widely in
routine and research laboratories for shaking tasks that demand
exactly reproducible temperatures for incubations, fermentations,
homogenizations, chemical and biochemical reactions, enzyme
and tissue studies.
Construction: Each bath
consists of a heavily insulated stainless steel tank housed
in a powder coated outer case. Motor with stirrer arrangement
is also provided for better thermal circulation giving a +/-
0.5 °C accuracy. The bath isdesigned to provide the optimum
working area for a large number of vessels whilst retaining
a minimum footprint, for the most effective utilisation of
bench space. The shaking mechanism is robust and reliable,
for long term, steady shaking.
